Landestheater Linz Announces 2021-22 Season

The Landestheater Linz has announced its 2021-22 season featuring a number of opera performances from classic works and modern works.

Puccini’s La Bohème opens the season conducted by Markus Poschner and directed by Mizgin Bilmen.

Premiere Date: Sept. 25, 2021

The Chamber opera “Lachesis” will be performed at the BlackBox Musiktheater conducted by Ingmar Beck. Lukas Hemleb directs the work.

Premiere Date: Sept. 26, 2021

Lehar’s “Der Graf von Luxembourg” will be conducted by Marc Reibel and directed by Thomas Enzinger.

Premiere Date: Oct. 15, 2021

John Cage’s “Europera 3 & 4” with be performed at the Blackbox Musiktheater. Gregor Horres directs the production.

Premiere Date: Nov. 13, 2021

Enrico Calesso conducts a production of Verdi’s Aida by Sabine Hartmannshenn.

Premiere Date: Nov. 20, 2021

Mikica Jevtić conducts Crossopera-Otherness: Fear and Discovery directed by Gregor Horres.

Premiere Date: Dec. 10, 2021

Cimarosa’s “Il Matrimonio Segreto” will be conducted by Claudio Novati and directed by Gregor Horres.

Premiere Date: Dec. 19, 2021

Mozart’s “Le Nozze di Figaro” will condcuted by Markus Poschner and directed by François De Carpentries.

Premiere Date: Jan 15, 2022

Stephan Suschke conducts Wagner’s “Parsifal” in a production of Momme Röhrbein. 

Premiere Date: March 12, 2022
