Teatro Massimo di Palermo Announces New Revised September Schedule

The Teatro Massimo di Palermo in Italy has announced a revised September program.

It all begins with Omer Meir Wellber conducting Schönberg’s “A Survivor from Warsaw” and Mozart’s Coronation Mass in C major.

Performance Date: Sept. 13, 2020

The second concert of the September season will be Vivaldi’s “The Four Seasons” arranged by Astor Piazzola with Omer Meir Wellber conducting soloist Jacob Reuven.

Performance Date: Sept. 16, 2020

Mozart’s “Don Giovanni” will be performed in concert form with Omer Meir Wellber conducting a cast that includes Alessio Arduini, Sarah Jane Brandon, Benjamin Hulett, Aga Mikolaj, Riccardo Fassi, Laura Giordano, and Evan Hughes.

Performance Dates: Sept. 22-26, 2020

The month concludes with Midori performing Beethoven’s Violin Concerto and Omer Meir Wellber conducting the composer’s Seventh symphony.

Performance Date: Sept. 25, 2020
